Every summer seems to bring about big changes for me. As a teacher, summers are a big deal. This is the time I find out whether I have a job for the next school year or not. Summers also help me de-stress and unpack the previous school year to make room for the next. I find time to do what I love with people who love me, which is hard to do when you’re pouring everything you have into 18 or so awesome little people you consider your own.
I am starting a life with another person and figuring out what’s in store for us. I am going to have to become a “We” and we are going to have to figure out how to make this life of ours work.
